GIS in Health Services Research - our book chapter!

Biomedical Informatics Division Director, Tracy Onega, and her Geospatial Research Project Director, Jenn Alford-Teaster, collaborated with Environmental Research Systems Institute (ESRI) on the creation of an eBook on STEM and GIS in Higher Education. Released in the Summer 2016, this collaborative effort includes highlighted research from nearly twenty private and non-profit higher education institutions.

Dr. Onega’s book chapter GIS in Health Services Research: Community-based Utilization of Breast Imaging Technologies (Chapter 15) details the innovative research methods applied to her work in understanding the spatial distribution and availability of breast imaging technologies.
